Why should I use a personal trainer?
How well do you think a sports team would perform without a coach? A trainer serves as your coach, motivating you to develop good habits around fitness and nutrition. Most people need guidance and clear direction when developing these habits that will become a regular part of your life. A trainer helps to guide you while teaching proper form and technique so you get the most out of your workout.
Why an in-home trainer?
Hiring a trainer that comes right to your door eliminates the cost of gym fees. No more travel time or sweaty and overcrowded gyms. You can shower and get ready in the privacy of your own home. We bring the equipment to you. We encourage clients to take advantage of their own equipment should they have some.
What do I need to do before I can get started?

How many sessions per week are necessary?
It all depends on what your fitness goals are. Generally speaking three is a good number. I also advocate cardio training on the days in between. The body is at its best when moving. If you do some sort of exercise 3-5 days per week, you will see results.
How long until I see results?
Exercise has a cumulative effect. If you are consistent with workouts and eat healthy foods, we typically see noticeable physical changes in as little as 3 weeks. However, every person is different and results will vary.
What areas do you service?
We service all areas within the City of Calgary, as well as Chestermere, Elbow Valley, Bragg Creek, Cochrane, Airdrie amd Okotoks. An additional travel fee may be charged to residents in Chestermere , Bragg Creek, Cochrane, Airdrie and Okotoks.
Do I have to be in shape to attend a Fitcamp or Personal Training Session?
Absolutely not. Our programs are specifically designed to meet the needs of inactive and active adults. The scope of the program is aimed at whipping you into shape by exposing you to a comprehensive total body conditioning fitness program. We are here to motivate and encourage you to do your best and to push yourself to that next level.
What do I need to bring to the studio or a Fitcamp?
Bring a good pair of running shoes and a water bottle. For Fitcamps dress weather appropriate. Women should bring a set of 5 or 8lb dumbbells and men bring a set of 10 or 12 lbs dumbbells. All participants must bring their own exercise mat. Show up early as we want you to get the most out of the session!
What do you do if there is bad weather during a Fitcamp?
Fitcamps will operate rain, snow or shine. If temperatures drop below –15 degrees Celsius or if there are extreme circumstances, Fitcamps will be postponed.
How can I pay for any Mojo Fitness services?
Currently we only accept cash or cheque. Cheques can be made out to Mojo Fitness. All NSF cheques will be subject to a $40 charge.
What type of referal program or incentive discounts do you offer?
Its easy! For every person you refer that purchases a personal training package (5 sessions or more) or registers for a Mojo Fitcamp, you will receive a credit of $30 towards any Mojo Fitness service.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Personal training requires 24 hours notice to cancel or re-schedule a session. Failure to give notice will result in a forfeit of the payment and session. All cancelled sessions will be re-scheduled. Personal training sessions are non-transferable and unused sessions are non-refundable. Fitcamp cancellations do not receive a refund. If you miss a day here and there during Fitcamp you will not be credited these days unless previously arranged.
Do you provide nutritional advice?
Proper nutrition is a key factor in seeing results. If you require a detailed and specific nutritional plan, a separate appointment with a Registered Dietician will be arranged.
